Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive WordPress Administrator to manage and maintain our WordPress websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress functionality, plugins, security, and performance optimization. This is a key role in ensuring our digital presence runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage WordPress core updates, theme and plugin updates
- Monitor and optimize website performance, speed, and uptime
- Manage user roles, permissions, and site security
- Perform regular backups and recovery testing
- Troubleshoot site issues and coordinate fixes
- Install, configure, and test new plugins and themes
- Work closely with content creators, developers, and designers
- Ensure site SEO and accessibility standards are met
- Document processes and changes to the site
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience managing WordPress websites
- Strong knowledge of WordPress admin panel, plugins, and themes
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Wordfence, iThemes Security)
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge required (PHP/JavaScript is a plus)
- Experience with hosting control panels (cPanel, Plesk)
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Experience with WooCommerce
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Google Analytics / Tag Manager experience
